I believe local government should be about people, not politics. Whether it's keeping our streets clean, protecting local services, tackling anti-social behaviour or standing up for our communities, the focus should always be on doing what's right for residents.

I have never belonged to a political party, and I am proud to stand as an independent candidate. If elected, I won't be bound by party whips or forced to follow a party line. This means my only priority is you. I will listen to local voices, judge every issue on its own merits, and make decisions based solely on what is right for Connah’s Quay.

Too often, local politics can become divided along party lines, while the issues that matter most to residents remain unresolved. I believe councillors should be able to work with anyone who shares the same goal of solving the many local issues we have, improving our community, regardless of political background.

Being independent also means being directly accountable to the people who elect me. If you have a concern, an idea, or a problem that needs addressing, my responsibility is to represent you and your community first and foremost.

This campaign isn't about left or right. It's about making sure Connah's Quay has a strong, approachable and hardworking local voice that will always put you, the residents of our community first.
